Connecting People Through Paper Creations
Fun Fold cards are among my favorites to do. I love challenges and fun folds can be that but not this one! This is an easy Corner Fold fun fold card. It’s simple and uses minimal designer series paper. I used the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and the dies from Painted Poppies. The designer series paper is from the Peaceful Poppies DSP and is absolutely gorgeous!
This fun fold doesn’t require a lot of extra paper since the card itself creates the fold. I stamped the front of the card with tone on tone poppies to create interest and stamped the inside corner of the card to blend in with the front of the card. - Cut Poppy Parade Cardstock at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”
- Turn Cardstock in landscape position with front of card on the left and place at 3” mark. Move blade to 2 ½” mark cut up to 4 5/8”. Rotate cardstock to portrait position and place blade at 5/8” mark and cut to meet perpendicular cut line creating a square cut.
- Take top right of the card and fold down to the front of the card creating a corner fold then burnish using bone folder. Make sure the fold is even across the front.
- Cut Basic Black at 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
- Cut Poppy Parade at 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
- Cut Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper at 2 ½” x 2 ½”
- Cut Whisper White 2 ½” x 2 ½”
